About The Podcast:
The podcast is hosted by two instruction librarians interested in sharing their experiences teaching information literacy, discussing current trends, and having meaningful conversations about librarianship.
ABOUT THE Hosts:
Amanda Piekart is the Director of Research and Instructional Services at Berkeley College. She has been providing IL instruction, workshops and training for about 10 years in an academic setting. She provides onsite and online instruction. These days her interests include self-paced learning, assessment and demonstrating educational impact through IL instruction.
Jessica Kiebler is an Instructional Services Librarian at Pace University where she teaches students about the library, information literacy and how to use research skills for success. In previous lives, she has worked in project management, public libraries and elementary education which all bring another aspect of information to her work with students in the classroom. Her research interests include disinformation and post-truth culture, library marketing and outreach and library assessment. She has an unending love affair with coffee, visiting libraries while traveling and is attempting unsuccessfully to chisel through her GoodReads book list.
